Can anyone please help me to clarify this.

On the notice to conditional permanent resident letter, it stated that I should remove the conditional status from Jan 29, 2014 to April 27, 2014 but when I receive my green card, it said that my card expires on 29/12/2013 and i start to reside since 29/12/2011?? Very confusing? So when should I start to file for the removal of conditional status?

Your conditional GC expires on 12/29/2013 & you're approved on 12/29/2011 or you have been residence since 12/29/2011.

You should mail your ROC between 09/30/2013 & 12/29/2013.

Thanks for your quick reply but my interview was on 26 Apr 2011 so I think I should be consider as residence since 26 Apr 2011 shouldn't I?

Wait a second, Did you get approval on your interview which was on April 26, 2011 ? & according to your GC you have been resident since December 29, 2011. This does't make sense, something does not add up here.

Could you please give me your all details ?

my interview date and resident since on my green card is the same date, I would say that you should apply according to when your green card would expire! what is the date on your green card?

OK I have solved your problem after examining your timeline & the dates you gave me. Now it makes sense, obviously USCIS has messed up your dates.

Let me put the dates first to understand everything clearly.

I'm going to write all the dates in MM/DD/YYYY format :

AOS Date Filed : 12/23/2011

AOS RFE Date : 12/29/2011

AOS Bio App Date : 02/07/2012

AOS Interview Date : 04/27/2012

AOS Approval Date : 04/27/2012

Now the facts (According to actual dates) :

1- Your Conditional GC was dated WRONG by USCIS, instead of Approval Date they have put RFE date !......

2- Your GC should be expired 04/27/2014, NOT 12/29/2013

3- You should do your ROC according the dates USCIS gave you (between 01/29/2014 - 04/27/2014). As you know filing window opens 90 days preceding 2nd Anniversary of your Conditional GC.

4- Let's come to "what should be done to correct this mistake". You should make INFOPASS app. to talk to IO at your local office, explain everything by printing dates on a piece of paper like I did here.

Good Luck !..... Please keep us posted.

you need to do the last step, otherwise you card would expire before you would file for ROC, employer would go by the date on your green card!! good luck.
