I was talking to a co-worker this week (his wife is Japanese - he's American - been married 24 years) about how most of my friends now are women in the same situation as me - married or have been involved with Arab men. I made a comment about how many of them are intellectuals who "chose to import a man because it was so hard to find what we wanted here". He loved the line about importing a man.

It was good to read this article and see such a positive spin on this new development in our society.

Salwa, they couldn't have found a more beautiful couple to use to represent what we all know is the best new way to meet someone special. You're the new internet romance spokesmodel!
