yest my wife went to the lawyer for send the AOS fot the nvc

and her dad is joint sponser so our lawyer told us he needs her dad passport photo .. and the probleme her dad he lost his passport from few years

so what i can do please someone help me

USCIS:

I-130 Sent : 2011-08-29

I-130 NOA1 : 2011-09-06

Expedite Request sent:2012-03-09

I-130 NOA2: 2012-03-16

NVC Received : 2012-03-26

NVC Case Number Assigned : 2012-04-13

Expedite Request Send : 2012-04-23

NVC Ask To Re-Expedite: 2012-05-08

Expedite Approve: 2012-05-10

NVC Sent :2012-12-05

Embassy:

Embassy Received : 2012-05-14

Medical Exam : 2012-05-17

A copy of his US birth certificate will also be acceptable.

All her dad needs to do is to contact the embassy needed to get another passport.

does he have a US passport?

u can always get another passport. you have to send in what they need.

i am surprised your lawyer doesnt know that....

The OP mentioned that his father lost his US passport a few years ago. Kozah, if your father has not already done so he needs to report his passport lost/stolen. See the link below on what to do.
