I went for a biometrics walk-in today at San Francisco (appointment was for Oakland at the end of the month). Friendly and efficent, was done in 15-20 mins.

I'm wondering if I should have joined this forum instead of June.. My priority date is May 31st.

I got my biometrics scheduled for July 2nd, but I did a walk-in this Monday and it was successful. I'm n Boston by the way. It only took 20 mins in and out.

May 21, 2012 (Day 0) - sent package via USPS express mail at 6:24pm

May 23, 2012 (Day 1) - received by John Chyba at 11:41am at Chicago FBASS address

May 30, 2012 (Day 7) - personal checks were cashed

May 31, 2012 (Day 8) - called up USCIS since checks were cashed and 4 case numbers were given

June 1, 2012 (Day 9) - received NOA for I-765 dated May 29, 2012 with error on address. Called up USCIS for correction

June 2, 2012 (Day 10)- received NOA for I-130, I-485 and I-131 dated May 29, 2012 with the correct address

June 4, 2012. (Day 12)- received biometrics appointment for June 14, 2012

June 12, 2012(Day 20)- walk-in biometrics (only 2 days in advance from original schedule)

I've been playing with my MSC case numbers since there's nothing else to check on the website. :lol:

I was able to trace how many applications there are (well not the total exact number) and it is astounding no wonder they may be backlogged as what I heard. My case number is MSC1920-660XXX meaning my application is the 660,xxxth one I changed the numbers on the last six digits and I found other applications either ahead or after mine. It's pretty interesting and crazy number of applications too... So hang on tight everybody

My EAD application was filed on 05/22.

To simplify it, I went by the package delivery date; do you remember when yours was delivered? If anybody needs to make a change, feel free to copy, paste and edit (let's try to keep the format though). Good luck to all.
