My fiancee forgot to print her name at the bottom. Instead she just typed her name regularly. Will that be a problem? I already sent the packet out. Any info will be helpful

thanks

Yes, I think that will be a problem. That Form Requires an Original Signature. The entire form canbe typed but Original Signature is required.

You mean there is no original signature? Yes, that usually is a problem. Sometimes it's disregarded and they are able to sign at the interview, though. However, I'd expect an RFE.

I am presuming that you mean the space at the bottom of the page where it says to PRINT your name? Not the signature portion, that is different. If you mean the place where it says to PRINT your name, then printing it on the computer will be fine.

Technically the G-325a does not need to be signed bu a foreign beneficiary (I have the internal memo that so states and it is covered in my interview with the VSC dept head in the pinned topic at the top of this forum) BUT many people have received RFEs for signatures anyway. Not all adjudicators read all the memos. If she did not SIGN it with her signature, there is a good chance of an RFE

If you are talking about the bolded section at the very bottom where the name is PRINTED...no problem.

Gary and ALla, you got that right. I meant the bold part where it says PRINT NAME. She only had her name written First Last not FIRST LAST. As you said, I think that won't be a big deal.

Thanks all for your replies !

Yes, they will figure it out...)))
