Hey all! I got three touches last week... And today something special in my mail box! :D

No not our NOA2... The notice that the address change I called in August 28, 2006 was complete!

Ok, there is a little sarcasm in this post....

50 days to add "th" to 7th Street on my address... Krikey!

Progress on our case I suppose.:pop:

how would you feel with 217 days?? and no NOA2

I think the fact it took 50 days to make a minor address correction is part of the issue with your case. Frankly I think your wait, given the criteria which the initial NOA1 to NOA2 process is supposed to evaluate is criminal.

But don't make me regret my simpathy by telling me I have no right to be amazed it takes 50 days to do a minor address change. You are most definately getting more screwed than I at this point, but there is no reason in the world for me to trust I won't reach day 217 myself with this type of service.

Peace, and I sincerely hope you get your approval soon. You most definately deserve it.

You'll get it soon. almost no one is as unlucky as I am when it comes to the Govt!

Heck you'll probably get it before me. Nothing surprises me anymore

It shouldn't take more then 60-90 days max. now that IMBRA is implemented.

But somes cases like mine and others get flagged for some BS reason.

good luck

Gonna try again.

Oh my LORD!!! This is too much...I'm so sorry, ready4ONE. The inefficiency just goes on and on over there, doesn't it...? It's maddening. Well, yeah...Let's hope this means that something more monumental is coming soon...

You know I'm praying...

:yes::yes::yes:

January 2004: Met Laurent at the Bibliothèque nationale in Paris

February 2004: We became an actual couple

January 29th, 2006: I left France to return to the United States--AWFUL to say goodbye!

June 2006: Finally convinced Laurent that a K-1 visa would be more time-effective than trying to get an H-1

August 1st, 2006: The K-1 petition is finally in the mail and on its way to Nebraska...WooHoooo!! And yes, I remembered to attach the check! :-)

August 3rd, 2006: USPS online tracking shows that my petition (sent certified) was received at the NSC at 5:05am

August 14th, 2006: NOA1 received USPS!! (I-129F recv'd at CSC: 8/4; NOA date: 8/10; last touched: 8/11)

October 2nd, 2006: I MISTAKENLY thought we had an approval...False alarm...Back to waiting...

October 3rd, 2006: TOUCHED!!

October 4th, 2006: REALLY AND TRULY APPROVED!!! Email notification lists 10/3 as the NOA2 date.

Later that same day: TOUCHED...AGAIN! Hope that means I'm in a cozy box and moving to NVC this week...

October 10th, 2006: Received official NOA2 via snail mail.

October 19th, 2006: Case received at NVC!! AWESOME!!

October 20th, 2006: Case forwarded to Paris!! DHL says two shipments were headed that way. Must be in there somewhere...

October 27th, 2006: Received official receipt letter from NVC via USPS.

Hey november, Well not really a Detroiter! We just have to go there for AOS interview.

I'm on Lake Michigan actually right across from Milwaukee.

I bet there's some NOA2's tonight. I doubt mine, I don't want to get my hopes up anymore. :(

My Congressman's office told me last week it's with an officer who is "reviewing the merits of the case"

SHe just made excuses for USCIS.

SO it's not in security checks and it's still taking this long?? what BS!! How long does it take to review only so much evidence??

10 million illegals in this country, and they stress families out and treat them like ####### to maybe catch a few fraud cases?? GMAB

It's like the court system, they have to justify their jobs!! stay busy

Gonna try again.

I'm just one week behind you Hornet! I understand your frustration. Last week I got touched 3 times. How can they pick up the file on three consecutive days and then cast it aside again???? Somewhere on the USCIS website I read that the average file takes 1.5 manhours to adjudicate. I don't understand how you can get touched then freaking nothing.... Are they deliberately tormenting us?

I've lost hope of an approval now, I'm thinking the touches are going to result in another RFE - that would be the third. It is so sickening to congratulate all the August and September approvals! Some people hadn't even met their fiances face to face before we filed our cases.:angry::angry:
