:crying: :crying: :crying:

I just pulled all photocopies of my I-130 application, and while reviewing Item # 17 I found out that I had mistakenly wrote my spouse name instead of mine.

Guys, I have just completed 5 month mark of waiting period and now I am seeing a big mistake of mine.

What do you think?

Will they(USCIS) notify my error in notice?

Will they(USCIS) correct it for me?

Should I call to service center and let them know about it?

I am really feeling sad. :bonk:

well they should of sent a RFE if there was a mistake, but I would call them first thing in the morning and explain to them. Maybe they will be able to help you out, I'm not sure if they would correct it for you because they send RFE's.. but somebody else might know that question... good luck <3

I marked my stepson as "Husband/wife", they just approved as 'CR2' and didn't bother a RFE. So,you should be ok.

This is such a common mistake on spouse petitions, they will simply overlook it. They know your alien relative's spouse is the petitioner because you checked the spouse box at the top and showed each other as the current spouse on the G325a forms. Relax. This is a non-issue.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
