Huge mistake in letter for I-130

Hi all, we made a huge mistake. My wife put the wrong month down for when we met and we just found out now after re-reading it. We met in person in January 2008 but on the letter of how we met for the I-130 she put down that we met in June 2008. Should we send in a letter stating that we made a mistake or what do we do? Can in be cleared up during the interview? We feel like complete idiots. This process is so exhausting and I can't believe we overlooked it.

Sincerely worried,

Paul and Amber

By the way, along with our I-130, as part of our evidence of a bona fide marriage we supplied tons of pictures with the correct dates contradicting the letter. Will this raise red flags? I hope they realise we just made a typo. The pictures are dated correctly from Feb '08 onwards.

Thanks for any advice, much appreciated

**** Moving from DCF to CR-1 forum as DCF is no longer available in Ireland ****

Considering you are in Ireland, I doubt it'll be an issue.

I would bring along an updated letter to the interview, but I do not think you'll have problems because of this.

Oh thank you!! Reassurance is always nice to hear. We feel like right lemons after going through so much just to get this far. We have drafted up a letter should we be required to send it in once we get some response from them. We'll definitely bring the matter up when it comes to the next batch of correspondence.

On another note, I applied for my police clearance certificate and it came two days later! Cool!

Agree with the others, bring an updated letter to the interview. Also, if the forms themselves were correctly filled out, then I cannot imagine the typo in the letter being an issue.

Hi there,

I agree with Penguins advice.

we had the same problem just a small mistake and it had us so worried.

We did nothing to be honest just left it be thinking that we would correct it if they asked.

Nothing came of it though in the end and our interview is on Monday

Good luck with the rest of your journey

Cheers
