HELL EVERYONE. I AM NEW MEMBER TO THIS WEBSIT.

I FILED I-130 TO MY WIFE ON OCT.17TH 2011 IN CSC. BUT STILL INITIAL REVIEW.

IS THERE ANYONE GOT APPROVAL. PLS ANSWER ME. REALLY WORRY. BEC THE WAITING IS TOO LONG

08/12/2011: Sent I-130 packet.

08/15/2011: NOA1, Priority Date

02/22/2012: NOA2 - Approved

02/25/2012: NOA2 - Received hard copy in mail

NVC

03/06/2012: NVC received

03/07/2012: NVC Case Number, BIN & IIN Assigned

03/08/2012: DS3032 sent by email (auto response received immediately)

03/13/2012: Re-send DS3032 by email (auto response received immediately)

03/13/2012: Received (2)Email with DS-3032 Kit and AOS Bill instructions

03/14/2012: AOS bill appears as PAID

03/16/2012: Mailed AOS package (I-864)USPS EXPRESS

03/16/2012: DS-3032 Accepted Via Beneficiary Email (Took 8 DAYS from 1st Email)

03/20/2012: IV bill invoiced & paid $404.00

03/21/2012: IV bill Payment reflecting PAID / AOS checklist received

03/30/2012: IV package DS-230 sent via USPS Priority

04/02/2012: IV package Delivered @ 11:55 am w/signature

04/12/2012: Re-Sent DS-230 Part 1 W/Photocopy of receipt from Hong Kong Police Via USPS EXPRESS

04/13/2012: DS-230 Part 1 package Delivered to NVC ATTN:DR @11:52am

04/17/2012: CASE COMPLETE (41 Days @NVC)

04/22/2012: Request Expedite

04/24/2012: Expedite Approved!(2days)

04/25/2012: Case sent to U.S. Consulate General in HONG KONG

Medical / US Consulate / POE:

04/30/2012: U.S. Consulate General Hong Kong received

05/16/2012: Interview Scheduled May 22, 2012

05/22/2012: Interview APPROVED!!!!!!

05/26/2012: Visa in Hand (9 months 11 days from NOA1)

Keep a keen eye on the timelines that are similar to yours (i.e. the filing date/service center) and check there for the number of NOA2s. Also, USCIS has a toll free number you can call, if you have the time to wait on hold. I called just to verify the NOA1 etc. and the person answering the line was very polite and was able to put to rest my concerns...I am sure everything is fine, and (even though it sucks) the worst case is that you have an ROE on your hands but that only means some extra time. I find it is best to look at your fiancee's arrival as inevitable albeit a variable timeline :P

I also file I-130 December 2011, from what I am reading the average time is 4 months, but look like it will be at least 6 months

Keep in mind that the average of 4 months includes cases that qualified for expedites. For those that don't qualify for expedites the current average waiting time between NOA1 and NOA2 has been around 5-7 months.

06/10/11 - Married

USCIS: (224 days)

07/22/11 - Mailed I-130 petitions for wife and step-daughter

07/28/11 - NOA1 for both

02/21/12 - RFE for both (received hardcopy on 2/25)

02/28/12 - Responded to RFE for both(received by CSC on 2/29)

03/02/12 - NOA2 for both(received hardcopy on 3/8)

NVC: (37 days)

03/12/12 - NVC Received both

03/21/12 - NVC case number and IIN received for both & Emailed Choice of Agent for both

03/23/12 - AOS bill invoiced & paid for both

03/26/12 - AOS bill shows paid & AOS Packets mailed for both

03/27/12 - Choice of Agent accepted for wife (sent another for step-daughter via email and express mail)

03/28/12 - Choice of Agent accepted for step-daughter & IV bill invoiced & paid for wife

03/29/12 - IV bill shows paid for wife & IV bill invoiced & paid for step-daughter

03/30/12 - IV bill shows paid for step-daughter & IV Packets mailed for both

04/04/12 - IV Packets reviewed. Checklist issued for Divorce Decree for my wife. Step-daughter's was accepted and her case closed

04/10/12 - Divorce Decree accepted after supervisor review & wife's case closed

04/16/12 - Expedite requested for both cases due to NVC error

04/18/12 - Expedite request approved for both cases and sent to Santiago Embassy

Embassy: (15 days)

04/24/12 - Embassy received both cases from NVC

04/25/12 - Wife went to Embassy for document review. Interview date assigned for both cases.

04/26/12 - Medical Exam for both. Result - approved.

05/07/12 - Interview date for both. Result - approved!

05/09/12 - Received both Visas

05/16/12 - POE Atlanta

Hi friend...any word yet? we called our local congressmans office and they were informed that our case has been assigned to an officer on the 25th of April...so with that being said...we just hope we will get an approval soon!! we filed november 8th...hope all goes well for you too, good luck, we will keep you posted since we are filing from same country..thanks

Hey guys, im new to the website as well. Sent out my I 130 for my husband and it was received on april 13,2012. As I read along im getting discurished on the wait time. Didnt think this initial process would take so long. Im hopeful he will be with me.sometime this year. I worry about our age difference (11 years) and im scared I wont be able to start my life with my soulmate but I cant loose hope. I like to.read on and see how happy others are when they get approved, hope thats us soon.
