NVC did not receive case

My wife case (CR1) was approved on Mar23,2012 and nvc still have not received her case from USCIS (VSC) yet. I've sent her approval letter to NVCResearch@state.gov on 4/11 and received following reply on 4/12:

" Please be advised that the National Visa Center (NVC) has received your

inquiry and the attached I-797 Notice of Action - Approval Notice.

Unfortunately, we do not have record of receiving your approved petition

from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. The NVC will contact

USCIS on your behalf for information on the location of this petition."

As of today 4/20, they've not received her case yet and also i've not received any email from nvcresearch since above. Today is 21st business day and i am not sure how long do i've to wait to get NVC case#.

You can fill out ur time line and join "NVC April 2012" postings. There are ppl with NOA2 date before and on ur date still waiting for there case to be received. look at my signature line below... Ive been waiting 30 days since my noa2. USCIS took like 20something days to mail the file to NVC. I read that someone called NVC and was told they had or was geting a big batch to check back in the middle of next week. What i did was i called USCIS and demamded that someone told me when my case was sent out.

May 2014- Husband is an American Solider with his US Citizenship.

our case took about 7 weeks to reach nvc. NOA2 on Feb1, and another 2weeks to get the case number.

NVC is getting a lot of influx now a days and include the change of IV is messing up the system. best of luck to us! :bonk:

our case took about 7 weeks to reach nvc. NOA2 on Feb1, and another 2weeks to get the case number.

so much for fast tracking. im sitting at 22 days aprox and everytime i call all i get is not case number yet. the automated system doesnt function anymore at all. if you call at 1 am it will just tell you to call later, i thought they were supposed to have a system where you could enter you case number or receipt number for an update? ...................... ??

Yup. you can get your case completed in NVC in two weeks or less if you have documents ready to go, hopefully no RFEs.

Spoke with case worker at congressman office. She said that my case has been sent to NVC yesterday. Lets hope it gets to NVC by next week.
