I am trying to pay for AOS fees online. I can see in the receipt section that there is unpaid due for me and my wife.

But, in Invoice section Fee Amount is Blank, Payment status is EXEMPT. I am not able to select anything to start making the payment.

Any idea, if this is somehting to do with website error or I am missing something.

I am trying to make payment from "https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC"

regards,

Umm.. Unless I am totally mistaken, AOS fees cannot be paid online. Are you referring to the fees related to Affidavit of Support? If you are doing the adjustment of status process in the US, there are no fees for the affidavit of support, and the I-130 and I-485 fees, for all I know, cannot be paid online.

You are correct, I meant Affidevit of Support fees. Since I am outside USA, I am requesting for Counsular Processing. The portal I mentioned seems to suggest I can pay online, but dont know why am I not able to select the check box to make the payment.

Not sure if there is any way to post the screen shot.

Your message is a little confusing. You are filing for adjustment of status, but you are outside of the U.S.? The affidavit of support doesn't cost anything when you file it with adjustment of status, which is probably why you can't pay it online. If you are using some other process particular to your local consulate, then you need to ask them how to pay whatever fee they want you to pay.

OP posted in the wrong location. It sounds like they are doing DCF. I've requested a moderator move this so they get accurate answers.

Topic has been moved to the Direct Consular Filing forum as the correct forum for this topic. I have also edited the title to read 'Affidavit of Support"

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

My apologies, i saw this wrong as my invoice was not posted. Now it is done and I am trying to pay IV Application Processing Fee. I am still facing issue and I have posted another message in the same forum. Thanks.

I am trying to pay IV Application Processing Fee online. I can see the Invoice and I can select to make payment.

I reached to the page where I entered all my bank details and when I hit "Make Payment" button, I get following error.

I am repeating the details of the message here as well.

Payment stopped for the following reason

Service Fee 0000XXXXXXXX has an active payment. This payment cancelled.

I am trying to pay with my friend's account.

I am trying to do this from IE and also tried with Firefox and Safari as well and got the same error. I am sure it should work on IE and hence trying IE multiple times and got same error.

By the way the payment status is still "NOT PAID".

PLEASE HELP.

If you are doing DCF (Direct Consular Filing), were you directed to the website to pay fees? I thought you would pay the embassy those fees. You need to find this out directly with the embassy. Because your case number will still be valid on the payment site, but you may not be required to pay through that site. Also, not everyone pays AOS(Affidavit of Support) fee. Eg., If you are filing for your own natural born child (not step child but your own flesh and blood) you are exempt from Affidavit of Support requirements, because your child is child of a USC. See I-864W. You did not provide enough information. You said in your first post that the AOS fee was showing EXEMPT, so I am not sure I fully understand your situation.
