My fiance submitted our K1 visa application on March 6th 2012 to Dallas Texas. They sent us an email to inform us that our K1 visa application have re-routed to Vermont for processing. Cheque was cash so we guess is going good. We also recived I797 Notice of Action on March 20th and gave us a case number. We are thinking everything is going smoothly at this point though its still early in the process. We redone our K1 Visa application 3 or 4 times at home just to make sure it was all perfect before mailing it out. In fact, we used this website as our guideline on how to file and what are the document to send to USCIS.

Wow! Did you expedite? That seems incredibly fast!

You said you received the I-797 (NOA2) and they gave you a case number. Did you actually receive the NOA2 plus the NVC letter (case number is in the letter from NVC)? Or you called NVC?

When did you receive the NOA1 (I-797C)?

I'm curious, that's so fast! :P

Edit: Something's wrong in your timeline, your NOA1 and NVC received dates are the same… it's highly unlikely. :)
