Hi. I'm just new here. I had my K-1 interview last April 3. I was able to answer all the questions that the CO asked me and he finally said, " So far everything is okay Ma'am. Just wait outside for your number to be flashed again on the board and for further instructions." I called the USEM yesterday and the agent said that my passport is still with them and it's on administrative review. I called again today and the agent said the same thing and I was asked if I was told to submit addt'l/supporting docs and I said no. I told her what the CO said and on the last step on my interview the girl said that everything is okay and I was told to wait for my passport to be delivered. Please enlighten me. Thank you.

We went thru a similar situation last year with the Manila embassy, they cant tell you how long it will take, they wont give any details either, they kept the passport which is a good sign, name checks or missing documents on there part is possible, you just have to hang in there and wait, good luck.

Yes, if they were missing one document, they would have tell you. BTW, where are you from? (please update your profile with it) Some countries are more subject to do administrative reviews than others.

Your case is in AP, when a consular officer has finished reviewing your case - your visa will be delivered to you via 2GO.

There is nothing you can do but wait - no amount of stress or worry will speed up that review.

I'm from the Philippines. I just can't understand what's taking them so long.

I know, I was not in AP but I got my interview last March 29th, and my visa is supposed to be delivered today (15 days of waiting, this last week, I got thru all kind of emotions…). Easter holidays was, I think, the reason for all that wait.
