hi,

i paid the IV fees few days back. its status was processing for 2 days and it was updated as PAID after that. then i sent the IV packet through express mail from India. sudden i was just checking the fee paged and i was shocked by seeing that it was REJECTED. now it shows that i have to pay again. my question is... why did they REJECT mt payment?? shall i pay again or should i call NVC and ask what has happened??

answer required urgently!! i am really tensed about it!! thanks in advance!!

Right now they have put paying fees on hold until April 13 or 15th or something like that because they are changing the fees and decreasing the IV fee by 100 dollars

I do not know if that is your case or if you put in the wrong numbers off your check!

DId you use the numbers on your check or did you use the wrong numbers off a deposit slip or did you pay by money order?

Many reasons fees are rejected but I think yours has to do with the changing fee in a few days

You can call nvc and ask

But I am sure you will not be able to pay for a few days till they adjust the new fees for everyone

Do not worry about your papers they will check them and when the fee is paid again you will get a case complete

they are discussing this issue daily

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

Nov 30, 2011 Notified of Interview date

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

So how much will the fees be on 4-13?

Green Card issued 9/28/2014 after filing I-601 Wavier

Removal of Conditions
6/6/2014 - Meeting with Lawyer to start process
7/15/2014 - ROC mailed
7/24/2014 - Received at USCIS
8/11/2014 - Biometric appointment notice received
8/18/2014 - Biometric appointment

10/24/2014 - ROC Approved!

It was 404 when I did it so maybe it will be 304 in 1 week??

I am not positive on the exact amount

It might be 303?

But I think 304

and you will see it on the payment portal of what they want you to pay

But call NVC because maybe you put in the wrong numbers and they can tell you

The $74 security surcharge seems to have disappeared from the new fee structure on the Department of State site. So, I am not sure whether we will be paying $230 + $74 = $304 or flat $230.

I guess we'll have to wait and see once the invoice gets generated once again.

i wondering if the ds-230 fee will change for cr-1.. really couldnt find it on the other link it told me to go to. humm if anybody knows, i would like to know :) if not, i guess ill find out. <3
