No, not my last day - just my last Friday :) My last day is next Thursday. Still feels weird - 4 shifts left...

Wow, that's coming up quick...keeping fingers crossed for a smooth POE! :)

Ah, I was wondering why you weren't feeling a little sad.

I know it's suddenly upon us. After everyone gets their visa they are all excited because they are going to move very soon but we didn't even put our house on the market until we came back from Montreal. Which was why it was even funnier that my passport made it back to Calgary before I did. And now here we are surrounded by boxes.

Happy/sad week for me as a couple of groups of friends have had get togethers for me. Bit strange as I don't feel like I am going yet but does remind me of what wonderful friends I have here.

I'm not letting myself feel sad until Thursday - and even then it'll be hard to, considering I'm going to visit family some more after that. The weird, sad part will most likely hit on Saturday as I'm standing in the airport alone waiting to get through security. But we'll see...

LOL yeah, actually that does make it funny that your passport beat you home and you're just NOW surrounded by boxes! But everyone does things at their own pace and that's all we can do. :)

The wonderful friends and family are the parts that make it hardest to leave. But one foot in front of the other, and don't look back except to remember how wonderful the people you love really are. That's nice that people are having get togethers for you too. Nothing like moving to another country to bring people together!
