PLESE POST UR TIMELINE AFTER INTERVIEW

WAITING FOR OATH LETTER

NOVEMBER 2011 DECEMBER 2011 & JANUARY 2012 FILERS ONLY PLZ

INTERVIEW DONE ON 21 MARCH WAITING FOR OATH LETTER

ONLINE STATUS : INTERVIEW & TESTING

I'm actually more interested in approval update timelines. I honestly don't mind waiting few months after interview having the assurance being approved. Oath schedule is solely dependend on locality. One can assume time between approval and oath at same office is about the same.

WAITING FOR OATH LETTER

NOVEMBER 2011 DECEMBER 2011 & JANUARY 2012 FILERS ONLY PLZ

INTERVIEW DONE ON 21 MARCH WAITING FOR OATH LETTER

ONLINE STATUS : INTERVIEW & TESTING

My interview was on March 21st, the oath letter was given at the end of the interview for the April 19th.

A friend had her interview at the same local office in the end of February, her oath letter was given also at the end of the interview for the beginning of March. Her oath ceremony was in different location than where will be mine.

Conclusion: The time between the interview and the oath totally depends on your location.

Agreed, Ree.

Posting the time it took from your interview and your oath is really not going to help people, certainly not without providing your local office AND your actual location. It just has too much variance. People are best off checking through the filing threads and seeing if there is someone with the same local office as them, hoping they also close to their location and seeing what their timeline looks/looked like.

That is usually the way. You get news when you are most worried about how long things are taking.

Congratulations, you are basically done now. For what it's worth, it took 3 working days from that online message to receive my oath ceremony letter. But obviously, it depends on how fast your office mails them out and how fast your post office delivers.

My interview was on February 22, but I chose to have a name change so I was told to wait and I was supposed to get an oath letter in the mail in 2 weeks. Of course nothing happened, I received an email on March 12 stating that I was placed in line for oath scheduling, and since then, NOTHING! I was supposed to be scheduled within 45 days from the interview, but it's been more than that now. I'm thinking about calling USCIS.

I called USCIS today and I got the same response, they have 90 days, and if I don't hear anything by then, call again. It's getting really frustrating here... I'm gonna do an E-request now, and see what that tells me :blink:

I did an E-request they replied the next morning. It did say I was approved and will get a letter 2 weeks before the Oath ceremony, but when will that be who knows.
