new case Number from NVC

Hi everybody;

i receive an approuval from uscis since october 2008 and they say that they send the case to NVC since now i never receive anything from NVC (case number )please tell me what to do in this case.

For more information, my dad is a us citizen,and i am married and over 21 , he filed a I130 petion and the cas has approuved by uscis since october 2008, now i never heard from NVC. is it normal?
