Can anyone tell me what my fiancé (Sveta) can expect when she goes for her interview at the Moscow Embassy? We are still waiting for NOA2, but a heads up would be very welcome. I front loaded with 6 photos, Skype chat logs, airline receipts, etc... I know she will need my I-134, tax records, letter from my employer and her visa application and I intent to send 6-8 more photos and recent Skype logs plus recent emails!!! Is it all enough??? Thanks in advance!!!!!! ☺☺☺☺☺☺☺

Moscow is not a particularly difficult consulate. I am going to suggest the mods move this thread to the RUB forum where there are more members with direct experience. Check the Moscow consulate reviews for a history ofmembers experiences

May be enough. You both need to sign new Letters of Intent to Marry, same as you sent in with the petition.

How many times have you two met in person? How long has your relationship been?

Moscow can get squirrely sometimes.....just ensure your fiancee knows all about you.....how many children you've sired, all those wives you had before, all about those criminal convictions....other than that the interviews are usually mundane.

Phil (Lockport, near Chicago) and Alla (Lobnya, near Moscow)

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!

We have only met one time in person, but I am planning to go back before her interview. That way she will have her engagement ring and new photos of us too. I proposed Jan 1, 2012. But, we've been talking since June of last year. She knows things about me that even my priest would never know!!!??

Thank you very much for your input!!!!! It was well received and greatly appreciated.

We just has our interview last month, the engagement ring never came up. There were more questions about how we meet, how did we communicate, how often, and when and where did we meet in person.

Yuliana said total interview time was about 5-7 min, all in english
