hi everyone..

my fiance just received an email saying our case was denied. :( maybe because we havent met the 2 year meeting requirement. now were undecided if he will go back here in the philippines and refile 1-129f or get married and file a spousal visa.. since he is in military service he cannot file a leave right away it will take a lot of process. which visa would be faster for us? he will be deployed june 2013 im afraid i cant come there in time if he file a spousal visa. do u have any idea how many months it will take if we apply to expedite our case? tnx.. God bless us all.. :)

military deployment is a reason for expedite so either way they may be able to expedite either of the petitions

So decide which way to go and ask for military expedite.. making sure this k1 is closed when you refile.

yes thats right. better you get married here in PI then ask your hubby to file for cr1 visa.. we file ours last dec 2011 and its approved within one month. he was slated for deployment in afghanistan on 2013 too. now were sched for interview on the 10th

Either way you need to meet first, it's an absolute denial if you do not meet within 2 years. With the military deployment, if he can prove this with papers, I would suggest getting married then filing and including an expedite with your initial file.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
