They took their time getting us ROSIES AOS, and we even had agents out to the house then. It took us 6 months were other got it in 3 months,

They (california and Missouri) office passed it back and forth each month until Dec 10 2009.

Now we Submitted our I-751 Sept 12 2011 (three months prior to Dec 10 2011). Waited and waited finally a RFE but it is requesting the same things we had in our PACKET to them in Sept. with 2 new things, 2011 State and Federal Taxes with all the documentaton required to fill the forms out. Also the car registration for 2012.

Go figure it's only March, I really don't need to fill out TAXES until April 15th 2012 and lucky we bought a new car so we do have a 2012 registration.

But what about the others out there that haven't done all this. What would they do?

Also they wanted our mortgage .. we don't have one, our house is paid for.

they wanted our loans .. we don't have any we pay cash .. even for the new car.

I just don't understand why they screw with HONEST people doing it all the RIGHT WAY.

I love my wife and she loves me ... she is worth it ... but it doesn't make it easier dealing with them.

I have retired early and I took her on vacation to a few places here in the U.S.A. and want to take her to the Grand Canyon, YellowStone,

Las Vegas ...but we stay here ..just going out because we wait on them and her 10 year green card.

If I am going to travel I want it to be for weeks months not days or weekend.

HAHAHAH sorry I bent you ears, I just want you all to know your not alone ... in the wait.

david and rosie.

single 15 years married 5 months ....now I know what peaks and valleys are in life. LOVE my wife hehehe

I am with you about USCIS delays. Of course we haven't been waiting near as long as you, but 3 weeks after our interview, there is no news! I thought that at least our reward for having to go to an interview after already having done one for AOS would be a quick response. Sigh. So tired of immigration. It feels like this will never end. Good luck to you, and hope you get an answer soon. I would schedule an INfopass since it has been so long.

Hi DaniG,

Has your case been approved?

I sent in my application on Jan 9th 2012, got the finger print couple weeks later like Jan 23rd, then nothing new is going on so far.

I am just wondering if that is normal. I did not think it would take this long, since on the USCIS website the California service center should take no more than 6 months, and I have seen some postings were even approved in couple months.

Thanks,

Meimei

Heh, you are not alone.

Mine has been a year now and if it wasn't for my congressman pushing the USCIS, they won't be even agree to have my N400 to be priority over the ROC...

You are right, they troll for fun.

Did you contact your State Senator or Representative? I sent in letters to both offices, but am trying to figure out which one I should follow up with, and who would be more willing to take action. From what I can tell on the Senator's websites, one of them is anti-immigration, so I won't be sending anything off to him. LOL!

I put in a service request for my pending application on May 16(ish). I called yesterday and it turns out the person that sent in the service request, put the service request for "non-delivery of green card", instead of "outside normal processing times".

Babygirl1:

I contacted my local congressman. They are the bone to contact with immigration issues.

However they want to see you have exhausted all your options.

In my case I filed in June of 11, RFE received in July, replied in Sept, got relocation notice the following week.

Till Feb 12 I filed a SR, in which they told me a decision will be made in 60 days IN WRITING. May comes and still nothing. So I filed my N400 and contacted my congressman, filed a inquiry. A week later his office sent me a print out of email from the USCIS director, stating that since I have a pending N400 they are just going to prioritize that instead of ROC. No explanation of why my ROC is taking its sweet time.

By the meantime I have a I551 stamp and my N400 interview is in few weeks.

What a joke.
