Ok we have a few months yet but I'm a bit confused about a couple of things.

Firstly, a lot of the documents linked to (including the special filing requirements for Texas, OK residents etc) are out of date and can't be found , does anyone have an updated list? Or perhaps could edit the stating post?

Secondly, when we come to file our AOS application, I'll be applying for AP and EAD at the same time. I've read the assembly instructions but I'm a bit unclear of how we will track these individual pieces. Do we simply attach a single e-notification form to the front of the folder containing all three applications and will we receive three NOA1's? (i.e. 1x for the AOS, 1x for the EAD and 1x for the AP) with case numbers allowing us to track them ont the USCIS site?

Thanks!

Texas and OK residents? What special instructions... huh? I think you're confused there.

Yes, each application gets a receipt number that you can track online. It doesn't really help, though - you'll know it's approved when the document arrives in your mailbox.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Thanks, In the sticky at the top it says

If you live in Texas, Oklahoma or New Mexico special processing requirements may apply to you. Please read this to find out if this applies to you.

However the link has long since gone.

No need there are no special processing requirements for specific states. Just follow the USCIS filing instructions.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I see what you are talking about now, photomile. That warning in the stickied thread should be changed because it is out of date. Here is a more up-to-date guide from VJ http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

The e-notification only says your package arrived, which is basically what post office delivery confirmation tells you. Since all three applications will be in the same envelope, only one e-notification form needs to be done.

Yes you get 3 NOA case numbers for AOS/EAD/AP. You have a login at USCIS right now to track your petition. If you log in you'll see Add a Case to Your Portfolio . It's a link (try it when you log in) and you'll see how you can add the case numbers for AOS, EAD, and AP. When the time comes you can add Removing Conditions and the Application for Naturalization. I've got a lineup of six case numbers when I log in. The only tricky one is the ROC. The first NOA receipt number doesn't work. The biometeric appointment notice has a different case number and that's the number used for the case status tracking.

The Texas/OK thing you read was a pilot program they tried out in a few districts. It was for a limited time try-out and has been long gone for a few years. Things like that should be reported to Capt Ewok so he can delete/edit or whatever is needed to keep the site up-to-date. This is the forum for posting that http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/14-site-related-discussion-updates-ideas-etc/ .
