Oh wow. 10 months is way beyound the national average. They'll have to do something about it haha. Hopefully, things will speed up but I will definitely let you know. I just got a touch online and a text about "Testing & Interview" I'll rather get a status saying interview letter but staying positive.

Thats great news, so happy for you, hoping you get notice for appointment soon :)

Quick update for Paadoggi. It's been 23 days now since I applied. Got a touch on 04/06/2012! For "Testing and Interview". Looking forward to the interview letter itself; looks like I got some time to burn.

On April 6, 2012, your N400, APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was placed in line for interview scheduling. When scheduling is complete, you will receive a written notice with a time and place for your interview. Please check the website for further updates on your case. Hi everyone, need your help... my husband filed his n400 on 3/24 sat via priority mail to the Dallas lockbox. we checked that its "delivered" by 3/26 monday... however, our check (personal) is still not cashed and we haven't received NOA or any notice electronically.. should we be worried? seems like we are off from everyone according to the timeline... :crying:

Please try not to worry, easier said than done I know.

My paperwork was received at the start of March and they cashed my cheque on the 29th and I only got a receipt sent on 28th, it drove me mad all the waiting and wondering. You can call them 10 days after you sent the packet and find out what is going on with it, not 10 days from when they received it, but 10 days from when you sent it, feel free to call them this week if you're really worried.

You can call them 10 days after you sent the packet and find out what is going on with it, not 10 days from when they received it, but 10 days from when you sent it, feel free to call them this week if you're really worried.

This is the main number to call:

National Customer Service Center (NCSC): 1-800-375-5283

They will ask for your name, GC number and possibly your Social Security number. They will also ask what date you mailed your application. Did you do a personal cheque, if so have you checked your bank to see if it was cashed?

Thanks!! We've been checking with our bank to see if the check is cashed.. which is why we are really worried. I just called in with my husband, I was transferred to a immigration officer in California and he checked in the system and didn't find our case at all so obviously, there is no NOA sent out. He told us to email the Lockbox support email with our delivery confirmation number and check where our package is. This is not good at all!! sounds like they already lost our package... we actually already emailed the lockbox support email back on 4/4 and never received any replies... are we the only one running into this issue?!?! Everyone in the forum seem to have sent it via express mail which is to another address.. now I regret saving some stamp money!

Ok, same thing happened to me, but I sent mine to a Nebraska and from there it was transferred to the National Benefits Centre, why did they transfer you to CA? How did you send your packet? Did you have anyone sign for it? The only way we found out my packet had been sent to the NBC was because we called the military help line and they were kind enough to find out what was going on with it, if it hadn't been for the military help line I'd have been even more stressed than I was. Just keep trying that number, every day if you need to. I have to call them as my NBC number won't ever be found online for some computer glitch reason, so yup I am going to be bugging them all the time to find out any updates or if I am getting RFE's etc.

Ok, same thing happened to me, but I sent mine to a Nebraska and from there it was transferred to the National Benefits Centre, why did they transfer you to CA? How did you send your packet? Did you have anyone sign for it? The only way we found out my packet had been sent to the NBC was because we called the military help line and they were kind enough to find out what was going on with it, if it hadn't been for the military help line I'd have been even more stressed than I was. Just keep trying that number, every day if you need to. I have to call them as my NBC number won't ever be found online for some computer glitch reason, so yup I am going to be bugging them all the time to find out any updates or if I am getting RFE's etc.

the call was transferred to CA, not the package... currently it seems they never received our application into the system.. the officer said there are no case under my husband's name. i guess its lost at the dallas lockbox...
