Today, I had my biometrics taken in the morning at 8:45 AM (scheduled at 9:00 AM). We live about three hours from the biometrics from the centre. But the time we were back, it was about 2:30. I went online and saw there were touches to I765 and I485. I thought it was so quick. Any guesses?

Nope, they don't let you know anything. The only thing you'd hear from them about fingerprints is if they want you to do them again (we had to do biometrics twice).

Thanks James and Miranda for the update. just wondering how long did it take for them to send second biometrics appointment to you? Also, when was your second biometrics appointment?

As far as I know they only give you one biometrics appointment unless they mess up and they request another one ...

Check my timeline out and you can see the two biometrics dates on my note under AOS and EAD

They did mess up, apparently after them taking James fingerprints multiple times on the first appointment and some head guy saying they look good they still weren't good enough for the FBI so we had to drive back again.
