No solid answer for that, I have seen them posted where they got their approval in a week after and I have seen them sitting for a month still waiting after the RFE. Its all a waiting game..

Hello Group

When an RFE is requested and replied to the Vermont Service Center.... How much longer will that add to the 5 month average they claim?

Thanks

I received the notice and was ready for it. I responded immediately. Complete with NOA2 the next week!!!!

It looks like the RFE delay is about 3-4 weeks on average. But frequently the time delay is caused by having to dig up more paperwork, get additional documentation, whatever. I've seen some in the timelines that take months, but that is almost always on the petitioner's side, not the USCIS.

I would count on 3-4 weeks, assuming you can pull everything together quickly. Then you might be pleasantly surprised.

I replied to my RFE last Tuesday, i got the approval the very next day. The bad part was it took me 19 days to get done what the RFE was looking for... Had to go back to court to fix my divorce decree.
