Does anyone know if it is possible to "walk in" in Dallas for Biometrics, prior to the scheduled appointment date?

Call them directly - come offices allow and some are more stringent, cant hurt though to check.

A couple we know here in DFW tried to do a walk in there 5 days before the scheduled date and they were told they dont allow walk ins.

04/08/2011- received NOA2 hard copy, dated 04/05/2011

04/12/2011- NVC received petition

04/18/2011- received letter from NVC

04/18/2011- Manila embassy received petition

04/27/2011- medical exam passed

05/04/2011- appointment letter received dated 06/01/2011

06/01/2011- appointment date, put on administrative review

06/24/2011- visa granted

06/29/2011- received visa

07/18/2011- cfo class

07/21/2011- arrived in America

09/02/2011- happily married!

AOS Timeline

12/01/2011- AOS packet sent

12/06/2011- received email and text from USCIS with MSC number

12/07/2011- check was cashed

12/10/2011- received NOA hard copy dated 12/05/2011

12/12/2011- received NOA hard copy for biometrics appointment for 12/28/2011

Thank you for the information!...I tried looking for a phone number to call them, but no such thing seems to exist.

No, they don't. They won't even let you check in an hour before your appointment that's how strict their office is!

No, they don't. They won't even let you check in an hour before your appointment that's how strict their office is!

For while, Milwaukee had a walk in service, but only on a Wednesday between noon and 1:00 PM, was printed on the biometrics appointment letter. But they even quit that convenience.

For our second set of prints, had to be there at 8:00 AM, weather was questionable, no telling if there would be an accident on the interstate, and times we had to wait an hour, and right during the rush hour. Wouldn't be so bad if the office was located at the airport, but right in downtown. So we gave it three extra hours to make sure we got there.

It didn't snow, no road construction from the route I took, and when gas was $4.50 a gallon, the interstates were practically empty, so we got there 3 hours early. At that time in the morning practically everything was closed, so waited in the car running the engine every so often so we wouldn't freeze to death. If you miss your appointment, has to be rescheduled.

I do see telephones at these offices, but the numbers are super classified information. But can always call that 800 number to talk to someone that doesn't know anything.
