Hello Dear All, (I am January 2012 N-400 filer)

I received this YELLOW letter from USCIS. It states that "THIS IS NOT AN INTERVIEW NOTICE". Subject: Pre-Interview Case File Review.

And it says how USCIS has performed a complete review of my file and N400 Application. "We recommend that you bring the documents listed below to your interview to limit any potential delays.

Then, at the bottom it says (bold letters): USCIS recommends you bring the following documents to your interview:

x Bring your state-issued driver's license and state-issued photo identification card.

So, here is my question: Am I required to bring any other specific document with? Other than my ID and those letters I have received from USCIS? And, will I receive another letter about my interview time, date?

Thank you all for your help.

Yes - definitely bring the originals of everything you submitted in your N400 pkg. They're just reminding you to also specifically bring your state ID. You will of course also have your GC with you.

not everyone receives the yellow letter, it is a notification to take some missing documents to the interview. those who don't need aditional documents don't receive the letter. it's a normal thing.

Thank you Alaskan.

Good luck with everything. So, you still have been to actually interview yet?

I have not received any text, nor letter following that yellow letter. Well, I guess I will have to wait more! :)

Thanks again. Blessings.

I have not received a letter, but I received a text update that I was in line for interview on march 6.

Hello Alaskan,

Now I am placed in line for an interview as of yesterday, the 14th. Next step is to wait for the actual letter about the interview specifics like date and time.

Could you please let me know when you get your oficial letter? The reason I am asking is to see the timeframe between online notice and actual letter date. Given that you were noticed on the 6th (if I am not mistaken).

Thanks
