so when I first got my case number, I logged into the payment portal just to see what it all looked like,, logged in fine and it said invoice not generated, which was understandable,

today my wife wanted to see what it looked like, so she tried, and got the following message,

"This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately."

promplty I tried on my pc and got the same message, heart pounding I called the nvc,

operator told me to ignore the message, and that our case was fine,

anyone ever seen this before?

yes this has happened 3 other times in the last 2 weeks that I have heard of.

If you joined the February NVC thread, you would have seen that there was a previous member who got that message as well. It seems to be similar to the SIF message. Nothing to worry about. If you were able to log in before, but now can't, it's a good indication that NVC is working on your case. And it's quite possible that when you're able to log in again, that your AOS bill will be invoiced

I got the same message for a week from Feb 14 -Feb 21. Then it change. Once they actually bill you, then it would correct itself.

It looks like someone recently messed up with the portal and changed the SIF message into termination message
