Hi,

I want to know Calling NVC like 3 time per day to find out if there is an interview made help to make your interview to come out fast?

No, there are no tricks. NVC doesn't schedule the interview anyway, the embassy does. NVC just reports.

Thanks for you reply. So, as you say the Embassy is that schedule the interview, can I contact my embassy asking about my interview?

NVC doesn't schedule the interview anyway, the embassy does. NVC just reports.

Incorrect, the NVC schedules the interview based on what the Embassy/Consulate tells them they have available in terms of available dates.

Source: this State Department website:

The National Visa Center (NVC) performs fee collection, document review, and schedules interviews for immigrant visa cases for U.S. Embassies and Consulates General, except the Consulate General in Guangzhou, China, which schedules its own interviews.

So, as you say the Embassy is that schedule the interview, can I contact my embassy asking about my interview?

That was incorrect information, to see if an interview has been scheduled, you can call the NVC or the State Department's visa hotline at (202) 663-1225.

I absolutely agree to Mr. Ryan H. NVC schedules the interview and forward it to the consulate/embassy concern. :thumbs:

It is the consulate/embassy who will inform the applicant about their scheduled interview, but you can also ask the NVC ahead of time if they already have the date...
