i had my interview yesterday and was approved.

now, should i have a stamp on my passport evidencing approval? i am at work right now and i cant remember the officer stamping something on my passport though she took my orig I94, my EAD and AP doc.

anyone? thanks.

---- validity started Nov 01; means they've approved it as early as Nov 01 and further processing was stalled bec i have not done my biotmetrics ( well, how could i? they told me to wait for an appt letter from them! ) anyways, job search starts for me now.

Timeline

Most offices are no longer giving the I-551 stamp because the GC's are processed so quickly now. You will most likely receive your GC in less than 2 weeks.

Hi,

My spouse was approved for the AOS interview as well. Congrats to you. By the way that was the question I posed to the interviewing officer regarding the stamp and she told me that they don't do it anymore since GC's are sent out in less than 2 weeks. So now we are just waiting for our GC. Please inform me once you get yours or vice versa since we both had our approved interviews yesterday.
