Good day VJ just have this questions, our joint sponsor doesn't agree to send her 2011 1040 & w2s to us for the interview, because she already sent us her 2010 1040. but the thing is my hubby's income is good enough to pass the poverty level... & the NVC already completed our case even w/o sending our joint sponsor's w2... Do u guys think that my hubby's income is enough & no need for us to have a joint sponsor... & one more thing guys, I already have my hubby's scanned copy of his 2011 1040's & W2... Any thoughts? Thank you..

how'd u know that nvc didnt use ur co-sponsors w2 and 1040? wen is ur interview? and u dont need 2011 w2's and 1040. all u need is what u gave to nvc. u dont have to worry anymore coz u have a case closed from nvc.

I don't get it. If your sponsor was willing to sponsor you and give you the 2010 tax and W-2's, why not give you the 2011 if you need them? Sounds fishy...

we didn't sent my joint sponsor's W2 during the NVC stage only 1040's... But my husband (petitioner) sent everything like 2008-2010 1040's & w2's... and we were already given an interview date last week... So, as for my opinion the NVC didn't mind even if our joint sponsor wasn't able sent w2's along w/ her 1040's... I'm afraid they might ask it during the interview... I just found out recently that we don't need a joint sponsor anymore because my hubby's previous & present income are good enough to pass the poverty level...

If the petitioner's income is sufficient to qualify as sponsor, then the joint sponsor isn't needed. No worries.
