CSC SHOULD CHANGE PROCESSING TIMELINES

Instead of having people knocking at their doorsteps for NOA2's, I think it falls on CSC's shoulder to change the processing timeline to accurately and exactly reflect what dates they are working on instead of just showing 5 month target. Most among us have already been waiting past 6.5 months which is what the expectation was to have the case approved and forwarded to NVC. SO, in my opinion, they should do something about it.

Sometimes it is good for the soul to vent.

The dates given are ESTIMATES !!

As we all know, it is a waiting process..... don't worry your time will come. Hang in there!

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I agree. USCIS CSC is trying to saying they are processing within 5 months but this is not true.

So why are they still giving false information? They are not getting it don in timely manner so they NEED to just admit this failure on their part.

Yes, this is a failure on their part and on top of that they are not willing to admit it, which makes it even worst.

SHAME on USCIS CSC ! :ranting::protest:

I beg to disagree. For the following reasons:

1) I am sure the USCIS has computer systems that are capable of delivering an 'estimate' that is better than this. If the 'estimated' average displayed is 5 months, and the actual wait for most people is 6.5+ months, then there is a disturbing problem there. It is called neglect.

2) USCIS, on its website has processing data available only until Nov 2011, as is apparent from this link: http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=4&office=2&charttype=1

3 months of no updates? Seriously folks, some of us are impatient enough (forgive our lack of saintliness) to demand an update/projection more frequently than that.

3) There is apparently no consistency/order in which NOA2 s are being issued within the same service center. Not just little discrepancies, large ones. Good for them that are having a smooth ride, we are happy for them. It just seems unfair that something of such paramount emergency as a family union would not be handled in a strictly first-come first-served basis.

All the best.

I couldn't agree more with the post. Hey its great some get through quickly, but this process should definitely be more transparent as to why there are bottle necks at one CS yet not at the other CS. If they have the exact same boss (INS commissioner) and they have identical forms, identical processes, then their work load time line should be some-what identical.

They never cease in increasing the fees we pay, so if the work load has increased and the fees have increased then they should be able to handle their work loads in a near consistent state.

My visa service said that the CS's get bogged down during NOV/DEC and it happens every year. But VSC doesn't seem to be bogged down. So this seems to be a situation where CSC is not being held accountable?

I was doing some research and USCIS has an ombudsman and there is a new position just created, that is suppose to deal with customer service issues. I think instead of us bombarding the CSC voiceline we ought to turn our sights onto the ombudsmand and customer service guy and let them get swamped.
