Tomorrow's the day! Can't wait to get this interview over with...and hoping they do the same day oath!

What time is your interview? A January filer interviewing at the Dallas, TX field office stated that same day oaths are only given to those that get the earliest interview slots, and those are reserved for people traveling into Dallas from some distance.

Done with interview here in Tucson. Came in 15 minutes early and was called 20 minutes later. No busy waiting room actually, just few other people.

IO was a very nice guy who didn't mind chitchatting in between the official things that needed to be taken care off. No difficulties came up and no problems with couple of changes I had to make. Recommended for approval was the verdict so I'm happy.

Super awesome experience! Arrived right at 9am, waited until scheduled interview time which was 9:30 and was called in within minutes. Interviewer was nice and humorous, I was only asked if my maiden name was the other name listed, if I had immigrated through my husband (used the 5 year rule for citizenship though, was asked about the times I had been arrested (which I replied that I had never been arrested, his response was "I believe you Miss")asked if I had ever told anyone I was a US Citizen (answer was no of course) and then we proceeded into the super easy test, cant remember the questions that I was asked, but got the first six right and we ended there. The oath ceremony form had already been filled out before I entered the room, and he passed it to me and told me I could come back at 1 for the ceremony. Yahoooo!!! Ceremony was wonderful and I became an American Citizen around 2PM yesterday! The Lee Greenwood song makes me cry everytime...

Congratulations!

I'm in Austin/San Antonio office too, and I just had my interview today. The officer told me that I'd get my oath letter within 120 days, but the next ceremony would be at the end of the month in San Antonio.

I was a little bummed about having to make the trek from Austin again, but if it's the 26th I won't have to miss work! Yay!
