Has anyone every experienced an RFE because immigration were suspicious of your career intentions? Both me and my fiance work in the film industry, met on a movie shooting in London and we will live in LA together. My complete career history would have stated all movie work, do you think the RFE could be because they think I'm just trying to get a green card for work?? I wish they realised how hard I worked to get to my level in the UK and understood that I'm going to have to take a pay cut and a step down in roles. Moving to LA for film work is stupid as most big movies go to London or out of state now anyways!! Getting a green card doesn't even guarantee me work, as I still need to get in a union and also start meeting some people who can get me work! This process is so frustrating! :(

Hope I get my notice today!

Just wait until you get the notice, its not because of work history. No need to freak yourself out its probably something really simple.

I work in film too (entertainment industry). No, why would they be suspicious? Have you applied for a o-1 visa? Are you elegible for any of the unions?

If you want send me a private message and we can talk about this further.....

Don't ever do anything you're not willing to explain the paramedics.
