Hmm that is very srtange.I know each case is reviewed on its own merit but sill. I submitted for my mom sept 30 2011 and her interview is tomorrow already. A friend of mine submitted like a a month before I did and her case is still penidng. But then she casued her delay. She forgo to include copy of her birth certificate when she submitted the I-130 so they denied the application and asked her to appeal which she did in sept. She called USCIS about two weeks ago and was asked to wait coplue of weeks and call back.

So My question is was the neccsary documentation sent in with the initial application?

have you tried calling USCIS or even call NVC and enter her case number. You never know maybe her case is one of those that get forwarded to NVC without a case status update on the USCIS site....ITS LIKE 11 MONTHS ALREADY!
