hi guys

i was just getting all my stuff in order as i have my interview in 2 weeks time. I came across a paper that states:

If the visa for which you are applying allows derivative children, your unmarried children under 21 maybe added as derivative applicants after your interview has been scheduled. You must directly contact the embassy to request specific instructions. At he interview the added applicants will be required to pay the same fees, and submit the same forms and supporting documents as the original applicant.

We are sending in her I130 next week. My question is can i add her as a derivative. Our marriage took place before her 16th birthday. Or will i have to go down the seperate application journey ...

Thanks guys

A visa for a spouse or a child of a USC is not a category that allows derivative children. You need separate I-130

YMMV
