K1 Packet is done..

our packet is put together.. i will be mailing it today or tomorrow.. my better half is going back to Venezuela later today..

we have check it over and over.. and i put N/A or NONE for every blank ex dates (only takes numbers)

here is our contents.. (last night we went to kinkos and made 2 exact copies of the packet.. she will take that with here back home.. and i have set also.. plus the digital files

- Letter certifying intent to marry (Petitioner and Beneficiary)

- Copy of Final Divorce Decree (Beneficiary) Translated into English

- Proof of having met in person in the past two years

• Flight itineraries, (Petitioner and Beneficiary)

• boarding passes (Petitioner and Beneficiary)

• full copy of Passport Books (Petitioner and Beneficiary)

• Photos of trips to Texas & Venezuela (Petitioner and Beneficiary)

- Proof of ongoing relationship

• Personal email archive (Petitioner and Beneficiary)

• skype transcripts sample for 12 months

• Whatsapp transcripts

• eHarmony profiles (Petitioner and Beneficiary)

• eHarmony email directory (Petitioner and Beneficiary)

once i mail this off.. i want to start the next things i need to fiance.. so what exactly is that?

i know i need to get the I-134 (affidavit of support)..

i will look for a checklist for this document..

is there something else in need to have prepared..?!

yes, thanks for the link.. i have seen that but it seems like step 9..

is the only thing i need to send to her, I-134.. is that correct..

i know she still have things she will need to do on her end.. but i want to make sure i do my part and do it early..

Sounds like a 12 pound petition.

You will need the I-134 and supporting documents. I sent a letter from my employer and a letter from my bank (you really only need one)

You will need to update the letter of intent to marry as the original one will be old by the time she gets to interview.

Don't put any of these documents together yet though because they will be 5 or 6 months old by the time she uses them. Wait until you get your NOA2.

well, they are luck.. i did not Put ALL the SKYPE messages.. LOL>. that was 112 pages with 5 columns very close to each other.. LOL>

so i just picked one page for every month.. LOL

the emails was just Print screen of off the email directory.. not the contents of all the emails..

ok.. so i should wait for the NOA2 before i get the I-134&supporting docs.. cool.. thats what i was wondering about.. :)

you could make a cover letter of contents,optional,you can send the G-1145 E.notifiertion of application,opional,place on the very top of the package first page, good luck.

i agree. I think u are well prepared. Most important thing, make a copy of all originals.

For evidence of support,

1. very easy to get IRS Tax transcripts online ( 2 or 3yrs).

2. Letter of Account Verification From your Bank

3. Employment Letter verifying your employment with salary and start date.

4. If u have 401K or investment accounts/stocks/ IRA/ never hurts to show.

Most people of the forum somehow neglect one these documents.. so highly recommend you have these attached to your evidence of support

Other than that, i think u should be all set.

once you send the packet you can start planning your next visit!! hopefully you wont have to wait until your visa is approved before seeing each other again
