Hi Guys Just a Quick Question... For the Interview, Does my wife have to go with me? Or Do i go by myself?

Ask the Embassy, it varies from Embassy to Embassy. In Philippines both can attend the interview, some other countries say no, some say yes. I guess depends on factors such as room(size of the embassy)

My wife said there was a protest at the US Embassy in Manila few days ago and people where even throwing rocks at the gates. People are mad that the embassy and US Govt are taking too long to process visas and also many complain that the embassy does not approve visas for good people yet they approve visas for undesirables and criminals.

Starting a thread for everyone who filed their I-130 in December. My priority date is December 12. (I also sent an I-130 for my step-daughter this month, but that's a separate conversation.)

By the current looks of things, this thread may last awhile. I also saw today on VJ 2 CSC filers got their NOAs from December filings - it makes no sense.

Anyway, hope others share. It's too early to start fretting too much, I mainly just need to vent with others as this painful, long process continues.

Good luck to all!

Our NOA1 receipt date for our I-130 is Dec 11, 2011, philippines. Still waiting. Good luck with yours.

Combine this thread with the one I started in December so we all stay on the same page.

I called USCIS customer service yesterday, they said they're working on Nov 15. We all know this is some kind of guesstimate, just by looking at approvals on VJ.

However, he did tell me to call back mid-May (my NOA1 is 12-12-11) and do service request if I haven't heard anything. I think this guy was particularly friendly, though, so I have no doubt if I called May 12 and asked for a service request, I'd have problems.

However, the good news is just hold tight! It sounds like CSC anyway is making good progress.

Really? My wife is in the Philippines, but she doesn't keep up on the news much. Is it really any worse in Manila embassy than other parts of world??

wowwwwww that's a very encouraging statement from CSR at USCIS office. Yes, from VJ's igore list we see most of ppl from 1st to 15th November are getting their approvals rightnow. My NOA1 date is 12/20/2011. After reading your message my hopes are going higher and hoping to see NOA2 sometime from 15th to 31st May.

Most of December filers are communicating their thoughts on this thread, so you may subscribe to this thread :)

I dont know really if Manila is worse or better then other countries, but I been thru this process 3 times in US Embassy in Manila and I had no problems. By the way, my wife is Thrilla In Manilla lol, I used her acct to post sometimes before because I forgot my log in info but now I got my log in info back lol.

Having your petitioner with you on the interview day is a big factor for the visa approval. Goodluck!
