Interview Review
My wife did reached Mumbai US Embassy at 6:30 am. There were already approximately 50 people in the line by 6:30 am. Some were seating on the left side and few of them were standing in the single line. Non Immigrant and Immigrant people were standing in the same line.
At 7:15 am, VFS associate came & told people to form 2 different lines, 1 for immigrant visa and another for non – immigrant visa.
First they check the passport, papers of Nonimmigrant visa and then check documents like interview letter, passport for immigrant visa. After that they will ask to keep the passport in the bag and only need interview letter outside of the bag.
First they ask Nonimmigrant visa to go first inside the US embassy and immigrant people afterwards.
At 7:30 am, first you need to go through the security check and just a note, they even do not allow any kind of memory card in the purse to be taken inside.
Token assignment is very fast. They are sticking token on Interview letter.
When your number is called, token number is displayed on a TV and you are supposed to go to that particular counter.
When my token came my heart bit got increased
Initial question they asked her:
1) who is calling you?
2) How you Pronounce his name?
3) What are you doing?
4) Have you ever visited USA?
5) What is your mother and father name?
6) What is your mother’s father name?
7) Have you ever visited USA?
After that they took her finger print and return her entire original and some extra photocopies and tell her to sit for Interview.

At 10:30 am, Token was displayed on the TV for the 2nd interview
American lady asked her few question:
(1) When did you meet your husband for the first time?
(2) What is your marriage date?
(3) What is your engagement date?
(4) When did you see him for the last time?
(5) Was you’re arranged or love marriage?
(6) Who arranged your marriage?
(7) How did your parents come to know each other?
(8) Did you send your profile request to him through matrimonial website?
(9) Where did you go for honeymoon?
(10) Show me some picture of your honeymoon?

They did told her that you will get your visa in few days. Approved!!!
All the Best for all people, who is on the same track.

Thank you Visa journey to make this task easy and helping out at every steps...

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
