Got my NOA today with a Notice Date of 1/11/12 and a Priority Date of 1/9/12. It says, "Upon receipt of all required Record Checks, you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office." No mention of biometrics; does that come in a separate notice?

I actually received two separate 797C (NOA) .. one as a receipt and one to schedule biometrics.

My fingerprint letter says come on the 26th.. Do you guys think it makes sense for me to try to get it done tomorrow? Is there a particular day walk in biometrics are cool?

Looks like today is THE day for NOAs as I also received mine today too. Updated the list.

DAndy, I didn't get a biometrics appointment, either. But I haven't done biometrics recently as I did ROC biometrics for my GC about three years ago, I think. My letter said exactly the same as yours. *shrug* I'm guessing we'll get separate biometric letters at some point. But still, it's progress and I'll take it!

When you guys check your status online(those of you who have received a NOA already), does it say something like this?

"During this step, USCIS initiates the background checks of the applicant/petitioner and identifies issues that may need to be addressed either during an interview or by asking the applicant/petitioner to submit additional information or documentation. USCIS reviews the applicant's/petitioner's criminal history, determines if there are national security concerns that need to be addressed, and reviews the application/petition for fraud indicators.

If you have filed an I-485, I-589, I-751, N-400, I-90, I-821, I-131 or I-765, you can expect to receive an appointment notice to appear at an Application Support Center to have your fingerprints and/or photographs taken. The timing of your appointment is determined by the number of applicants ahead of you that also need a biometric appointment. We try to schedule biometric appointments as quickly as possible and in most cases you will receive your appointment notice within 30 days of submitting your application. We will send your appointment notice approximately 14 days ahead of your scheduled appointment. It is important that you keep this appointment. If absolutely necessary, you can request that your appointment be rescheduled however, please be aware that rescheduling may delay the processing of your application. 4/25/12- interview- passed & took my oath the same day!!-- US Citizen!!!

My N400 Journey took 3months & 8days!:)

Went to get my biometrics done this morning at the Manhattan office on Varick street... No line at all, was in and out in about 20 minutes.. Another step done.

Yay!!!! Good for you!!! Congrats!! :) If you don't mind I'm adding your original FP date to the list and EB (early biometrics) date on the side for "calculation" purposes lol

Should I get worried that my check hasn't been cashed yet? The package was delivered on the 12th. Haven't gotten any kind of email or anything, either :unsure:

05/2007 - filed I-130 via DCF in Frankfurt

08/2007 - interview to prove bona fide marriage

09/2007 - hubby PCSed to GA

10/2007 - hubby deployed to Iraq

04/2008 - hubby on RnR in Germany

08/2008 - received CR-1 visa

12/2008 - flew to GA alone to welcome home the hubs

09/2009 - PCSed to CA

03/2010 - we're pregnant!

06/2010 - applied for German "BBG" to retain German citizenship during naturalization

08/2010 - BBG granted

09/2010 - filed ROC

12/2010 - received 10 year GC

12/2010 - our little miracle is born!!!

01/2011 - PCSed to Germany

01/2012 - filed N-400 for overseas naturalization

03-15-2012 - Best of Both Worlds, I'm a dual citizen :-)
