My call to the 800 call center regarding our i130 submitted 01AUG2011 with NOA1 05AUG2011.

Our 130 has a NOA date of 05AUG on it but when I call the 800 line, the automated system said 01AUG... and when I speak to the person behind the phone, they confirm it is 01AUG.

OK....so according to the date (5 mo 2 days), I called to check on the status and was told to call back next month because the rep said they couldn't even reach our case.. so...we now know that the call center is blind to cases being processed according to the info they asked me....zip code, 130#, date, etc.... once they collected the info, I heard a single tap on a keyboard and they said "it wont let me see the info so it must still be processing"

Just some observations

For me it has been 4 months and 10 days now. Nothing ! No sign of NOA2!

Did you speak to a regular operator? They cannot see anything extra on your case, they see the same thing that you access on your computer at home with the status checker.

You should ask to speak to a supervisor or a tier 2 officer.

OK, so I am in a similar situation as you for a K1 Visa and I have been working with my Congressmen's office. I just spoke to my Congressman's office and they said "they have 5 months + 30 days" to process the applications. After I got done going Chris Brown and throwing chairs all over my office, I realized that there is absolutely no logic to the process. All you can do is wait...

Chris Brown prepares Petitions? Badly? Oh My.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
