My fiance and I are going to get married in two weeks, and Im just trying to do my research on what the next steps are for immigration after.

We will of course file for AOS and work authorization, but we have no plans to travel before the AOS would be accepted? Is it Necessarily to file for AP

if we have no plans or desire of traveling before the GC is given?

Thanks for all advice and help!

It's not necessary. But it's quick and free, so it isn't a bad idea in case you have an emergency situation.

Thanks

if it is free then why one the USCIS website does it say that the i-131 form costs 360?

do we file for AP and AED and AOS for the 1070.00 dollars and that covers all the forms?

also if we dont have any set dates.. how do we file out the AP form when they ask when our intended departure is?

can I also ask on the thread where do I find the A number, or can we just use is new SSN when filing out the forms?

Thank you for all the help

It's only free if filed along with AOS. There are other uses for the form filed alone with a fee. Yes $1070 is a buy 1 get 2 free deal.

Dates: unknown. Length of trip: 2-3 weeks. Reason: in case of family emergency in home country

(It doesn't really matter what you put. It will get approved)

A-number is on your NOA2. If it asks for A-number, don't substitute SSN.
