Um yeah next step is wait, and wait, and wait.

Documents list for interview:

Immigrants passport and copy

DS-230 Part I

DS-230 Part II

Original divorce decrees (both of you, if either were previously married). Certified translations if not in english

I-864 (prepared by your husband as your sponsor)

Marriage Cert and certified translation if not in English

Police Certificate or Certificate of Good Behavior (we also had to make a certified translation of that)

(2) photos of the immigrant - full face showing

Medical exam report

Submit copies and originals. The originals (except for medical and police) will be returned at the interview - divorce decrees, marriage cert, etc were returned to us.

Summary:

Documents from him (if he has them) are marriage cert/divorce decrees/I864 information. Documents from you are all on your side and should go directly to the interview.

Best of luck on your journey!
