12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

Some people are so cold. Steve was my hero, too...the only one I've ever had. My heart breaks for his wife and children.

I would keep your ignorant, heartless comments to yourself! If you think Steve just 'wrestled crocodiles' then you know nothing about this man and indeed your comment is ignorant. Steve did so much, he educated people all over the world about animals, he did a whole lot for conservation including setting up www.wildlifewarriors.org.au to support the protection of injured, threatened and endangered wildlife. Not to mention the amazing, loving husband and father he was. He was an inspiration to many and through his work he has inspired others to get involved in conservation. He lived a hero and died a hero!

i think it's safe to say that the definition of hero varies. to me, a hero is someone like those who fought on iwo jima. they didn't seek fame, or fortune, just freedom for their country and fellow man.

I just watched the show. I dont think Barbara Walters has to worry about her ratings. Give me a break, that is just stupid to say. That lady has been on 20/20 for so many years.

She is a well respected women, and Steve Irvin was a well respected man for what he has done for wildlife.(F)

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

I watched it too... Terri's grief was heartbreaking. The way she talked about him and about their love was very touching. I used to watch stories about couples like that, or see a 'once in a lifetime' relationship portrayed in the cinema and wonder, "Now, why can't I find love like that?"

I don't have to wonder anymore... my relationship with David matches any one of them and more... I couldn't bear it if anything happened to him.

I only asked the question about the definition of hero because for everyone, it is different. I admired the man and his work, and my children loved his shows. But I would not claim him my hero.
