Hello,

tomorrow is my k1 interview in Lima, my fiance sent me his I-134, and taxes 2010,2009 they were $ 0 , he didn't pay taxes because he was a college student the last two years , no leter of employer, because he got a 4 hours job as a paralegal two weeks ago. no statement from the bank .

and the co-sponsor just send I-134 , nothing more , no others documents , like taxes, pay stubs , etc... I think hechanged his mind and was worried about legal responsabilities..

I will go to my interview tomorrow and try, try to convince the CO I won't be a public charge, because my older sister is US citizen , my parents are US permanent residents , they didn't sign the I-134 for me , because that maybe will be a red flag ( purpose immigration). I am a dentist also ( I hope that will help I am well educated woman).

please some advices , is it posible explain my fiance will have good oportinities as a paralegal or if I need money my parents and sister will support me , so not public charge ....

thank you so much

That's what the co-sponsor is for, the can' assume your fiance will have good opportunities in the future... but if your co-sponsor makes above the poverty line you should be fine!

Your education wont count at least for the first months, so they wont take it in consideration...

Best wishes for your interview

Heu Veronica.

For what I've heard from other girls is that your sponsor doesn't really have to be your fiance. It can be his family or even better. your family. But you still have to bring an affidavit of support from your sponsor (your sister or your parents), they will have to prove they can support you, you should have asked for your parents tax return not your fiance.

to Dante and G : the co-sponsor's I-134 is ok , it's more poverty line . (he didn't send taxes, letter of his employer ...)

to Gysa= I think if my father co-sponsor me that will be suspicious, maybe red flag, so we decided looking for another co-sponsor.

Do you think I have any chance?

if the co sponor only sent in the i134 and didn't include the w2's you will not be approved no matter how good of a story you tell the co. your finace can still fax the co sponor w2's into you before tomorrow because you already have the original signed i134.

also, if your parents and your sister are already legal resident/citizen and you don't want them to sponsor you because of a "red flag" don't they have any friends that can do it for you if your fiance co sponor is backing out?

Typically proof of the claimed income is needed. Simply writing an amount on a form without some sort of supporting evidence is not sufficient. If the joint sponsor did not supply anything to prove the income claim you may receive a request for more evidence before the visa should be issued.

Regarding your parents as a joint sponsor. That isn't a red flag as you are seeking a visa with immigrant intent. It's very obvious that you desire to move to the US.
