Thank you for your kind input and i hope you are nearing to the end of AP because that's alot of time. You took them to the court once i am sure they will not afford to go there again, that would look really bad on there part. InshAllah you will see your Visa sooner.

I feel your pain. I know a couple that waited in AP 4 years before they finally got their visa. You can take DOS to court but I would wait until she has been in AP for at least 16 months. Even then once you file the court papers the DOS has 90 days to respond. That's another 3 months! I took DOS to court after 16 months in AP. Our visa was denied because they said we married for immigration purposes. We appealed and won. Our case was sent back to the embassy in Islamabad where they placed us in AP again. After 8 months they are now requesting new DS230, affidavit of support and my husbands passport. For some reason Islamabad loves to put people in AP and leave them there but once they decide to issue the visa they move very quickly.

Hi everybody!!

Allhumdulillah after 17 months and 3 weeks of AP i have finally received my visa today. i am on the tracker list. My interview date was on Sep 20, 2011. Here what happened before i got my visa.

On Dec 17, 2012 i got a post mail from the embassy to submit updated medical. I submitted on Dec 27, 2012

On Jan 17, 2013 i got a call from embassy to submit my passport. I submitted on Jan 22 ( i want to tell you all that on interview they took my passport but i requested it because it was expiring and i got it renewed and sent them back when they asked me to send it)

On Jan 31, 2013 i got a email to submit police clearance, DS-230 but i submitted Police clearance, DS-230 and photos on Feb 7.

I checked the status online at ceac.state.gov and my case was rapidly updating. and finally on March 12 it says ISSUED. and i got a call from Amex courier service to pick up my passport and i have my visa in hand.

you all are in my prayer especially those who have been in AP for more than 1 year. Allah will answer our prayers IN SHA ALLAH

Hello everyone

I have a question regarding AP status change. In your opinion people who have gotten there visa their status updates rapidly from date to date and then they get there visa one day or it's doesnt have to be like that. My husband has been in AP since december 2012 when he had his interview. We have only put in one inquiry and the status have no update. So will I see sudden changes in the status update or it could be possible that I wake up one day and the status could be issued? Sorry it's a bit of a silly question!

me too my case statut doesn't change,since i had my interview in december2012 IN ALGIERS ambassy. when i check online my case statut,i see the same update,it does'nt move it doesn't change.THE ONLY email i got from the ambassy is that my case is in further Administrative Review,and they said it doesn't process coz they dont have enogh staff.

NOW we r waiting fro more the 3 months and nothing move in my case.
