All praise to Allah. After being in AP for 11 months and 3 days our visa has been issued. My wife picked it this morning. Inshallah she should be here within a week. Thank you all for your prayers and support. We will continue to pray for everyone in this forum that they can also be reunited with their love ones as soon as possible.

Its so.. uplifting, to hear such good news from someone who was on AP for so long!

i also recieved this email from US embassy islamabad after sending new documents as per their request,

Dear Applicant,

we confirm receipt of document submitted to our office on December 1, 2012. These documents have now been forwarded to a proper authority for review. Once these documents have been reviewed and a formal decision is available, we will contact you.

My POE was JFK , process was real quick but there were alot of people so I had to wait.

4th Medical submit :26th Feb 2014 Result :Got email reply from embassy that they will call me for finger prints and oath ..and still waiting Got call for finger prints and oath

on 12th MAY Went for finger prints and oath :21th May Result :ApprovedVisa Issued :22.05.2014

Green Card fee paid : 05/06/2014

Poe :17/06/2014

From what this states it would be nothing more than administrative processing to do name checks and background checks which is the normal process for this embassy.

From what this states it would be nothing more than administrative processing to do name checks and background checks which is the normal process for this embassy.

Many men from Pakistan go thru AP.. my husband has been in AP for almost 18 months now. Our tracker shows loads of ppl that are still in ap a months to years after interview... This embassy requires complete and thorough back ground checks it's common for this embassy.

Your case required a waiver so they may not have done anything like this prior to the approval of the waiver they were waiting to see if the waiver was approved and now that it has they can complete the checks

Did the check the medical related and the public charge information? What exactly was check marked on your sheet?

6 August Sending back All require Documents

(1) (Passport)

(2) Medical

(3) 2X2 Photograph of herself;

(4) Form DS-230, Parts I and II

December-01-2012 got refusal work sheet latter X . Section 221(g)

Too much complicated ... New Delhi received on December 16, 2011 and then you received a call from U.S. Embassy in Islamabad. What is this?

Where are you from actually and why two different embassies from two totally different countries received your documents?
