Congrats!

Are there many of you December filers left waiting? Hang in there to those in limbo!

July 2005 - met my awesome, hot, amazing love in Lousiana.
July 2006 - Married said love and moved to Canada.
June 2011 - Entered US to visit family, decided to stay.
Feb. 2012 - Sent paperwork to Chicago.

May 2012 - Received green card.

I had my interview on May 18, 2012 at 8 am. The interview was very professional and we were advised that my GC should arrive within 30 days. The interviewer explained that we will need to process ROC within a certain timeframe and was very friendly to my 3 year old daughter. The interview took 1 hour and I dressed in a professional manner. I brought many pictures and he perused each one. He asked my 13 yo son questions along with my husband and I. I feel good that the interview went smoothly and that process is now complete. VJ members were very helpful during this process and it's really nice to know there are many helpful people in this world.

I am also left waiting for my GC. Put in a service request today June 19, 2012, as my case interviewer said to do so if I did not hear anything within a month of my interview. wacko.gif

01/04/2012: Transfer Notice (CSC) for both I-130 and I-485

01/09/2012: Touched

01/25/2012: Biometrics. Done!

11/10/2012: NOA-Interview letter for Dec 3rd 2012

It almost took 12 months (351 days) but I'm glad it's over.
