Hello Everyone on VJ,

We got our NOA2 approval last Nov. 29. I just have some few questions that made me worry a lot! I filed a petition for divorce recognition and I am only waiting for the final decision of the judge. It's been 4 months and no decision yet :((. I can't get my CENOMAR yet because of this judge delaying the decision.

Can anyone suggest me please on what to do. Im scared because I can't schedule for an interview yet and also there is expiry for that NOA2. They said 4 months. Does anyone of you here knows how to write a letter of extension for NOA2 to be send to US embassy? Please I need your help :crying::crying::crying: guys and give me advice.

Thank you all!

God bless visa journey!!!

At this point in time,I wouldn't worry about it. after a couple of months, if it's apparent you will not be able to schedule an interview before the expiration of the NOA2, your fiance can email the embassy to ask for a revalidation of the petition. In the meantime, concentrate on everything else you need to do to prepare for the interview. if you haven't seen it already, here's a link to the interview preparation instructions...

Dont Worry, the US Embassy routinely extend Petitions.they did mine. All you do is email them at "IVManilareplies@State.Gov" tell them why you need it and request an extension. Good Luck!
