I-134 with co sponsor

I just sent in my I-129F this week so now I'm wondering when I should start on the I-134 because I will need a co sponsor so it could take a while to gather everything. Should I wait to see if we get approved at the CSC first? Also, how long does it take to get this form completed with a co sponor, I know it probably depends but anyone who could give me some kind ot time frame would be great.

You/they can start gathering everything now but I would leave anything that needs to be dated until closer to your interview time.

ditto, gather info and such but wait to date things and such closer to the date. It doesnt take any longer with a co-sponsor. You gather your stuff together and fill out your I-134, and the co-sponsor does the same.

It didn't take me very long to get it all together. Most people wait until they receive their NOA2 to start gathering the information. Besides, information like bank letters should probably be dated closer as your accounts will probably fluctuate a lot between now and your NOA2 and your job pay could possibly as well (maybe a raise? ).

I agree with “Carrie” and “Stina”, start gathering and speaking to your co-sponsor now. In case they do not want to do it and you have time to get another.

We started to do the I134 before we got the NOA2 and we finisged 2 months before our interview date. It doesn't take along time to fill out that form, its pretty simple (compared to the other affidavit of support, I864!!). It took a month for us to finish with it...but keep in mind that Mike and I were both here in Italy and he co sponsor (his uncle) was in America and we had to do averything through calls and UPS packages!

If you are in the States, it should be a lot quicker than us

Yeah I didn't mean to indicate waiting is a good idea, on your part the forms probably won't take long but definitely make sure the cosponsor is asked and given plenty of time!
