Hello,

I submitted an I-864 for my wife's CR-1 visa in June 2011, using an IRS tax transcript for the 2010 tax year. Her interview is in London on January 19, 2011. By then, the evidence I submitted for my I-864 will be more than year old because it is from the 2010 tax year. Do I have to submit an new I-864 for her? If so, can she bring this to the interview?

I probably will not get the paperwork I need (1099 forms etc.) to file a 2011 tax return in time and then get a tax transcript. Or can I just submit a copy of my tax return? Would I have to get it notarized?

Alternatively, for evidence for an updated I-864, can I use my 2011 W-2? The W-2 is electronic and I will have to print it out if I get it in time. Would that be acceptable as evidence of income? My pay stubs are also electronic, can I use printouts of these? Can I also use bank statements?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

You do not need to submit anything extra. If it helps ease your mind, you could provide her with the 2011 W-2 (if you get it in time, but don't worry if you don't) or a pay stub from near the end of the year. But don't stress about anything beyond that :-)

title scared me, then I read I submitted an I-864 for my wife's CR-1 visa in June 2011

The I-864 is not over a year old.
